They grow up so fast... How to get it? Bugged?

Is this achievment (still) bugged?
I've tried to pet my dog, taking it to jobs and all the other things but it will not grow.
Does anyone know what for sure will work to get it or is it bugged and just lucky if I get it?

I think it is still bugged. I know that I've read of several people who have said that their dog became an adult in about three hours of game time. It took me a lot longer. I probably had 50+ hours with the dog before it ever aged. In fact, it just happened last week. I took him with me to all jobs and made sure to pet him at each job. I also made sure to play with him a bit at each job before I'd sell the house. At the office, I'd also give him attention and make sure that there was food and water available. I had about given up on him aging when I suddenly got the notice that he had become a "youth." That pop-up just so happened about a minute before I was going to exit the game. I was thrilled that he had finally grown up a little bit by this time. However, when I started the game the next day, he had grown into an adult while the game was shut down. I don't know why I got the notice that he was a "youth" if he was actually an "adult" or if that was some other bug. Anyway, all of that to say that it seems to take a *very* long time for the dog to age for some of us while it happens pretty quickly for others. Other than giving the dog attention and taking it with you on jobs, I'm not sure that there is much you can do to make it age any faster. All I can recommend is being patient and keep on giving him attention. He will *eventually* become an adult.

It never was bugged for me I got it with a husky

Ok, I guess I just have to keep playing with it and hope it's getting older soon.
I´ll try buying a husky and see if that helps anything.
