Go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean\House Flipper Game\Profiles.backup . If your savegame was in Profile 1, copy this folder Profile 1 (or the one with your lost progress) and paste it into the Profiles folder C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean\House Flipper Game\Profiles . This should bring back lost progress in general. Also, there should be a folder called House Flipper in your Documents folder with backup(s).
Already a long time ago, I wrote a guide regarding the cloud issue and what you can do about it. Most important thing is: always make sure that the cloud for House Flipper is disabled. If you go on my profile and click on my guides on the right-hand side, you find a possibility how to save your last savegame separately (outside the game). If you have a backup folder inside the Empyrean/HouseFlipper Game folder, you should get back your lost progress. But not everyone has a backup folder there, so if you don't and maybe don't have the mentioned House Flipper folder in your Documents folder, you can do it ithe way I describe in my guide. This won't bring you back lost progress then but you can avoid that it happens again. And if then something happens to your computer or the game, you will always have the last savegame that you can then send into the House Flipper Game folder inside the Empyrean folder. I always do it this way (saving my savegame separately) and it works perfectly for me.
To get to the Empyrean folder, you need to have your hidden files + folders shown, in case they are still hidden, here is what you must do with just 2 or 3 clicks where option 2 further down the site is the easiest:

Hope I could help you. :-)
Do you have the cloud for House Flipper disabled ? This is really very important as long as there is this cloud issue.
