I've spent so much time petting, feeding, playing and taking my dog on jobs. The dogs ageing has to be bugged at this point I've seen so many other people saying this as well.

Yep, I even sent all my other pets to the Care Hotel as someone said have only 1 dog.
And some suggested uninstall House Flippers start the Pets DLC from new start bla bla.
I'm on my last house now so will get achievement from the dude is proud of me but I wont have the They grow up Fast.
Thats where I will need to decide what to do. is it worth effort or not.

This indeed sounds like a bug. We're currently checking what's the cause of this and we will try to fix that with one of our future patch notes, or with the big Pets DLC update that comes soon!

Yep. Mine went from a puppy, to young, and when I got on today is yet again a puppy.

I'd like to add since my post I uninstalled and replayed adopted new dog nothing works. However a new discussion on this bug they are stating the achievement only work on the original dog?

I got it with a husky that achievement worked fine for me, the same one I got out of the box on the first mission

Oh my god, I'm so happy to hear that the devs are going to look at it. I've completed the dlc, did the same as OP and still only have puppies (after atleast 15+ hours of gameplay). What a releaf to hear, can't wait to finally have my dog hold a paintbucket!!

I´ve played for over 10 hours now, my dog is still a puppy. Sadly, the dog can`t help me with the work, so he is just running around. He has access to food, water, garden and even the treatmill. I don't know what to do, that's not how this DLC is meant to be played....

The dog we get at the beginning out of the box is random so everyone gets a different dog.
I finished all the jobs in the Pets DLC.

So I took all my pets for a tour of all my owned houses which is around 27 and then bought the Historic House and brought them all with me on every job regardless if it was DLC or purchased houses or just exploring .

But it was at least 40 hours IRL time.
What could fix this is when devs code to allow for any dog that reaches adult first gets the achievement,
One of my Begals reached adult.
Achievements says THEY GROW SO FAST" yeah right.
That doesnt indicate only the first dog we adopt.


You will see this when one of your dogs reaches adult but if its not the original then no achievement.

I can confirm that after I made a new profile and stuck with the first dog (in this case a beagle) you get from the Stowaway job until it got to adult, that the achievement unlocked. It did not when my main profile's dog aged up but that was a different dog (Australian Shepard) than the one that profile got from the box (pug).

I cannot get any dog to age up at all, not a dog out of the box (was young not puppy), not a new adopted puppy, not a new dalmatian puppy from the train, not a new profile I have given up on getting that achievement, which is killing me and my "must finish goals"
