how to use Dog treadmill.

So first off the first pet i get offered is always a husky which isn't in the list of available pets.
That aside....

How do you get the dog to use the treadmill?
All i've seen my dog do so far of it's own accord is eat from the auto feeder, nothing else.
YOu can't interact with the treadmill other then to sell or move it.

you don't have to do anything, its automatic, the dog will walk onto it every once in a while and use it
