I hope House Flipper 2 is just like House Flipper 1, but with a separate free-build mode. It would be nice for the free-build mode to be affected by your budget as well, because an unlimited budget would just be silly. Different lot sizes could even be level-gated, with the largest one unlocking when all your skills are maxed out.
And the buy/sell system needs to be more realistic. For example, something like this:
- Once the house is finished, you take 3 photos of it, upload them to the in-game PC and use a template to write an ad.
- The next day, the buyers come, and leave their comments. Expensive equipment like TVs, ovens, etc. should matter more than toys and plants, but accessories should give a small bonus. The number and types of rooms should matter too. Maybe make buyer requirements procedurally generated? This way, even if the buyers are the same, their "requirements list" changing by 1 or 2 points each time will keep things fresh.
- If more than one buyer came, you choose who to sell to, even if they aren't the highest bidder. It would make sense if they had "wealth categories" too. About 4 categories with 4 buyers in each would be nice... This way, you wouldn't have the millionaires outbidding the poor student trying to buy a fisherman's hut...
Just some ideas :)
