can't create a kitchen

What am I missing? I have a kitchen sink/cooker set, plus a fridge, but that didn't work. I tried adding another cooker and sink and fridge, nothing. Clearly the room is big enough to house multiple kitchen items so that isn't the issue.
I remember kitchens being a simple thing?

EDIT: Is this an issue with new content? I was able to create a large kitchen no problem with old content.
The new kitchen sets don't seem to be counting as both a cooker and sink even though both are there?

Maybe some all-in-one kitchen sets aren't tagged properly, like some of the sofas.
Try adding a kitchen counter or an oven instead of the cooking top. That's my best guess.

Yep. Same time you posted this, I updated.
It's the sets. Which is really fking stupid because they clearly have a sink and a cooker.

So basically I either have to test every set, and take a loss each time it's a broken piece, or just ignore a chunk of the new content I paid for.

The new sink+cooker pieces don`t count as kitchen for some reason. You can still use the new sets but you have to use separate sink and separate cooker from this set instead of combo.

This isn't even good enough to call a "workaround" though --- esp in the smaller homes.

Yeah, sometimes its strange with this game! And I dont mean just the bugs, which are ingame since years! Yesterday I did a Sleeping room with double bed, sleeping room wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, and it is called (ingame) not as a sleeping room but as a "multifunction room"!

If the Room Requirements guide on Steam is to be believed, all you need for a kitchen is a refrigerator and a kitchen sink. So the kitchen sets that Don't contain a sink (such as the hanging ones) are still ok to use. You just need to make sure you buy the sink separately.

And you are right, it is a new content issue.

I hope the devs are reading this, because a fix is needed!

2 years later and its still not fixed... what the ??? fix the issue devs, we cannot use the sink / oven combo for it to register as a kitchen
