When you first open it, it doesn't always show your downloads straight away. Just like the other tabs, it has a list of categories on the left hand side. In mine, for instance, the categories are "interior design" and "renovation". Click on any category to see your downloaded items that are in that category.
There isn't a fourth tab, it's just the usual 3 that are already in the game.
Is there something in settings I need to enable or anything like that?
I just had a look and my game keeps having the error that there was a 'steam cloud error' and my game won't sync to the steam cloud. Is this the issue??
Unlikely. Even though I've only lost my save once, I have turned cloud saves for House Flipper off completely, because they are the ones causing loss of progress for many players. Went to the Library, right clicked, chose Properties. Never had a problem since. Can still use the Workshop.
If I'm not mistaken, the only purpose of cloud saves is to enable the player to log into the game from a different computer without losing progress. If you only ever play HF on one computer, you don't need them.
I suggest you verify the integrity of game files first. Go to the Library, find House Flipper in the list, select Properties, then Local Files, then Verify Integrity.
If this doesn't help, do the following: Go to the Library page for House Flipper, scroll down to the Steam Workshop section and click "my subscriptions". Write down, or remember, which items you are subscribed to. Unsubscribe from everything and disable cloud saves. Log into the game to see if everything works ok. Then re-subscribe to your items and see if this helps.
HF does not allow any script mods, so it's unlikely they are the source of the problem.
Thank you for the help, I managed to fix it after uninstalling and reinstalling my game and then synching my steam cloud files. :)
because this thing never did me any good.
Turning off the "cloud saves" never solved anything in my games.
It just happend to make me loose some data that could have been saved.
