SOLD THE DOOR, NO LONGER CAN GET INSIDE

I go to sell the front door to update it and it disappears and does not let me place another front door. I've done this twice now. Since when are you not allowed to sell/remove a front door and replace it with something nicer?

You *can* replace the exterior doors. This has been discussed many times in the forum. The Devs changed the game so that you can now move an exterior door to where you want it, just like the windows. Because of this, when you sell an exterior door, a wall appears. All you have to do is purchase a new door. When you do that, two things will happen. One, an outline of the door will appear on the wall. You can move that outline to where you want the door to go. And, two, a hammer will appear in your hand after you click your mouse indicating where you want to place the door. Hit the wall with your hammer. After that, just press "E" and, then, your door will be placed. This is how it works with windows as well.

If you cannot follow that procedure MizMeow1 outlined, because it tells you it has "no room" to place the new door, then you're either trying to place it where there is already some installation, or you ran into the bug where your original door disappeared into the wall and has become invisible. Place your new door elsewhere, and once you're inside you can carefully search for the old door with your sales gun and get rid of it.
