Bare brick wall?

I accidentally painted a single wall strip in a room that didn't need painting. I don't want to paint the whole room because of that, it looks good with the bare bricks.

The problem is that I can't remove the paint. Tried many different brick patterns, none of them match the bare brick pattern.

The wal cannot be destroyed, by the way. I tried placing a wall on top of the painting and then breaking it, but the paint remains there.

Any suggestions?

Bite into the sour apple and redo the entire wall in whichever treatment you pick. Or paint a couple of sections to the side of the mishap as well and make a focal point of it for some piece of art. Or ignore it and go on your merry way; the buyers don't care at all.

There is currently no way to match the original brick texture, none of the textures we can buy looks sufficiently much like it.

I really wish the devs would make all the textures used in houses available, at least the non-dirty ones. I just had to repanel an entire house because a few panels around a window were burned, and those wide, grey panels aren't in the store. They're nice, why not?
