Awful screen tear

Hiya! I’ve had screen tear from the very start of playing this game, however it seems worse now after coming back after a break from the game ! I assume this isn’t normal ?

That isn't normal. I would suggest the usual of updating your drivers, validate game files in steam, make sure you have enough memory and hard drive space. I would also wonder if your graphics card is broken, but since it's only this game that seems less likely. There's options to play in different version of direct x when you launch the game in steam. You could also try different graphics settings, reducing detail etc.

hi! Yeh only this game it does it, everything is up to date and I’ve enough space on my ssd ! On a link I looked at, someone mentions choosing visual synchronisation, under fps limit settings.. however I don’t see where that is !! This apparently cured it for a few people

Oh it may be vsync then. That's easily solved. Let us know if you can't find the option and I'll look for you. vsync stands for vertical synchronisation.

Ok so v sync seems to of maybe improved it, but still not perfect ! Guess it will have to do hah

Hi so I had this same issue these are my settings, under quality I have it on high under effects I have it on high, display Fullscreen window, resolution 1080p, I do have vsync on under advanced I have shadows quality at full texture at full anti aliasing at extreme performance, screen space reflection at extreme performance, ambient occlusion checked and bloom checked. Hope this helps

I've only been having problems with this one game and I felt like I tried everything. I tried your settings and it's not 100% but it's worlds better than it was. Thank you!
