Suggestion For Item Identification
I just returned to my castle-turned-vineyard after a couple of months and I don't remember what specific doors I used. I think it would be cool to either have an overlay or some kind of tool to identify what materials and colors you used for any item you point your cursor at.

Personally I would love a favourites list of things I use regularly. Your idea to use a cursor to identify an item you can't remember would be good too.

That's really a great idea because like you, I too already couldn't remember every colour or items I used. So I totally agree that this would be a really helpful improvement to show what you used by hovering the mouse over any colour, furniture, walls, floor etc. :-) Maybe the devs read your suggestion and maybe really make it true, would be so great. :-)

ESPECIALLY when they add colors like "green" and "dark green" and expect me to remember which is which, to say nothing of the constantly inconsistent wood colors that cant even keep the same name between them

Yes, totally agree, there are usually several slight variations of a colour where you can hardly notice a difference and I'm sure that none of the players can tell later which colour is which and which one(s) you used last. So it would be really necessary and a huge help if they would add such a thing like mouse hovering that tells you which colour it is.

Sure, fingers are crossed that you find out which kind the plate is. :-)

+1 and I don't care if I'm necro-ing this thread. This QoL feature is still being seriously overlooked. Besides color, the name of the item you're pointing to should also show up on screen. The mission tells me to sell some stuff and I don't even know which one calls what.

Point your selling gun at things and see what colour the outline is. If it's blue, you are supposed to sell it. If it's red, it stays

Yes, some way of identifying objects and colours would be so helpful.
