That's really a great idea because like you, I too already couldn't remember every colour or items I used. So I totally agree that this would be a really helpful improvement to show what you used by hovering the mouse over any colour, furniture, walls, floor etc. :-) Maybe the devs read your suggestion and maybe really make it true, would be so great. :-)
ESPECIALLY when they add colors like "green" and "dark green" and expect me to remember which is which, to say nothing of the constantly inconsistent wood colors that cant even keep the same name between them
Yes, totally agree, there are usually several slight variations of a colour where you can hardly notice a difference and I'm sure that none of the players can tell later which colour is which and which one(s) you used last. So it would be really necessary and a huge help if they would add such a thing like mouse hovering that tells you which colour it is.
