House in the Thicket Bugs

I decided to move my office to House in the Thicket to discover several bugs. I cannot hang some of the pictures up or lay rugs on the floor. I get a message saying there isn't enough room when there is plenty of room. I also noticed that some of the strips on the wall are devoid of paint or wall panels, which I have to keep replacing or repainting. I logged out of the game and steam to reset them...this didn't fix it.

Gorgeous house, I too found some bugs with the house. vacuum wouldn't switch for Cockroaches in one room.
Sliding doors wouldn't fit.
I knocked out most of the walls to make sense of the design.
Ah gave up
So I just sold the house as is then bought it again all problems solved themselves.
Move your office if you decide to try this.

I've encountered the same issues with the "sliding doors" and not being able to place items, and the three rooms on the end were really small! Lol! I made two of them into a private and a guess bathroom, and the last one on the end with the windows, into a wash room,, and the "garden after construction" house I noticed some mis-alignments of all the sliding doors, and the balcony on front of the house and the small window to left of the front door I couldn't install a "blind" to it for lack of "space"

I'm starting to think that they were in a "rush" to finish this DLC and were afraid to "delay" it any longer

I've had the same issues with paintings and rugs, but not in the Thickett house (which works fine for me (except the garden, obvs)). One thing that used to happen (last year) was that there would be invisible things blocking you from placing bathroom stuff. You'd have to get your SELL gun out and then you could sell the invisible thing if you moused over it. Maybe it's related to that.

Same problem here. I can't even paint the walls above doors or windows, I have to look down, so I can open the doors. Since the house isn't finished, I don't want to sell it...
I also can't put things on tables or shelves because there is no room for it. The space is empty though.

Oddly enough, even though I kept getting the auto save, my house reverted back to the original version when I logged out. Lost about 8 hours of work on it. This hasn't happened on any other house I worked on and came back to.
