Can we at least mow the lawn without buying the Garden DLC?

I personally have no interest in the whole garden DLC as a whole, I just want to be able to knock down the high grass that is preventing me from finishing a few houses so did they at least add the ability to mow the lawn without buying the whole DLC or am I just going to have to buy a $14 lawn mower?

You are going to need to pay to mow. If I spent the time making a game I'd do the same thing. But if enough people suggest it, maybe they will add it.

I'm not asking for the whole DLC for free and I've seen the DLC and the whole thing itself is worth the amount their asking for it but they should at least give us a weed whacker or something for free or give us the ability to turn off the high grass that's preventing some properties from being finished because it's blocking certian spots on some houses

And why should they give this to you for nothing when the rest of us pay?

what do you mean it blocks certain spots on some houses? the houses itself can be flipped just fine without mowing anything

You can access any outside areas "blocked" by the tall grass by crouching (using the "C" key).

Not that I'm against having some sort of grass cutter available in the base game, but there is a workaround in case that doesn't happen.

If grass is blocking you from doing things then it's a bug in your game. I've completed each house several times and haven't ran into any issues

Kinda shady marketing though. I find it funny how they put it on sale for 50 cents off just to get on the specials lists.

Every house can be flipped and sold without mowing the lawn. That being said, if you want to do the outside part of the house then you need to buy the dlc.
