House Flipper/Garden DLC
So the game is mainly about flipping houses which i really think is neat, but from what i can tell the garden dlc adds zero value to the house, other then large profit loss if you decide to redo the yard. so spending the time to mow and weed is pointless other than your own personal preference and time sink. So for me its kind of a bummer, unless i am missing something. but i have taken the hit on cancelling the auctions to see if value gets added buy doing outside stuff and all i see is more loss.

I agree. Redoing the garden is fun, but useless, if you want to make money.
I renovated the little "Camping House" and did a few things in the garden. Mowing the grass, got rid of the weeds. Then I only placed 2 chairs, a table, a few grasses and bushes, stuff like that, nothing big. And then I had a nice rating for a"modern garden"... 4,5 stars... and what happend? I made a profit of >>400<<.... WTF?!
I think a nice garden should at least add a few more bucks when selling a house.

it isnt about how to make money. it is about the garden DLC not adding more value to the house being flipped.
This dlc should had come in a free update.

Oh no! This is terrible! Mowing alone should raise value to the house! Doing a garden should raise the value even higher! This is the worst news yet about the DLC! I really hope the DEVs change that!

Hello guys!
This is a great topic, thank you for your feedback!

We agree with the fact that Garden Flipper should follow the idea of House Flipper. We will discuss this problem and we'll develop a suitable solution.

Let us know what you think about it. Every suggestion will be taken into consideration.

Have a great day! :)

I agree, if I do gardening, it must affect the value of the houses :)

Exactly, that is a plague nowadays. Make a game then relase 60% of it, then give every 10% as $ DLC. Shame.

In real life when flipping houses any improvements made to the property including the garden adds value to the property / house, so in the game this should apply as well. PS we would like a mower trying to mow the lawn with a weed wacker is painful, also ability to create proper flower beds with curves and a pool that you can dig out and place in the ground would be nice, the pool sitting above ground looks weird

I agree with Flightsim Lover - the weed wacker IS VERY painful. Worse than cleaning windows. When you have to hold down the left mouse button AND move can be beyond painful and take a lot of enjoyment out of the game. A lawn mower may or may not be the best solution if the method (hold down and move) is the same. Maybe something like SHIFT + LEFT CLICK and then move would work, sort of like Always Run in Skyrim.

P.S. Please please please don't have the grass come back so we have to do it again.

Totally agree with those saying how landscaping needs to add value to the overall property to the house being sold. The buyers seem to not care about the lawn, flowers etc (even the pools!). Maybe using the buyers' algorithms/preferences can help the game determine the "garden flipped" yards' profitability. Hope this is fixed soon

Not sure why the discussion of being free is even here but ill add my 2 cents. For me it has and always will be P2P games as my game of choice, i cannot ask someone to keep updating, bug fixing. Come out with new xpacs every so often. All in the name of free. and to create that perfect bug free game is never going to happen, let alone fill every single persons craving within the game.

I agree 100%. I'd never expect someone to work for free or not make a profit. After all it is up to me as a consumer to give my money to someone else for their labor.

Игра потеряла смысл. Если я ремонтирую дом - получаю прибыль, если делаю работу в саду - получаю убыток. Тогда зачем DLS со всей его красотой: цветами, бассейнами и прочей прелестью?!!!

If this was a AAA $60 - $100 game there may have been a case for free. But this is a very moderately priced game to begin with and the DLC has obviously had a lot of work done on it. I agree that we need to be realistic here and I don't mind paying extra for the amount of effort that has obviously gone into this - bugs and all.
