Love the DLC except for paving stones
Have to say I really like the garden dlc. The only exception is the paving stones. They need some kind of snapping or floor tile type system and the ability to lay them into the ground so you can actually make a flush driveway and door walkway. More regular concrete selections without curbs for driveways would be nice too.

Yeah I gave up, I just did it in gravel. If the new owners want it paved they can do it themselves. :)

Agreed. Paving stones DO have snapping to a degree, just the very loose one used for furniture. Personally, I'd like to see an option to snap them to the main plot grid, i.e. the squares that make up the house flooring and the exterior garden. Paving stones also have designs which don't tile nicely unless you're just snapping the same size stone in the same orientation. Far as I'm concerned, they should have been given a one-tile size texture which tiles evenly across all of the larger pieces (4x4, 4x2, 4x1, 2x2). That way, we could snap stones of different sizes in order to build around trees and exterior walls.

While we're at it, can we please toggle object snapping so that ALL objects snap to the main grid like walls do, instead of being movable centimeter-by-centimeter? Warframe's base building system allows players to toggle grid snapping, and that's not even a "builder" game. Maybe let me choose whether objects snap every 5 cm, every 10 cm and every 25 cm (i.e. every floor tile) with the same applying for height. Would make lining up items a LOT easier.

Love your ideas Malidictus +1
+1 to OP and +1 to Malidictus. When they removed snapping for installations i legitimately thought it was a glitch and came to the forums for help only to run into a troll. I don't understand why leaving the snapping in the game and just giving "some" people the option to turn it off is such a bad idea or hard thing to do. Clearly there is enough demand for it.
