Lost all progress

So, I bought cheap Abandoned house and I mowed all the grass I saw and then I closed the game, because it took lot of time to mow whole yard. When I went back to that house, all grass was back! Now I afraid to start doing anything garden related because what if game doesn't save my progress, I will lose all progress I make! Scary, not much, just a little bit.

I can understand that.
Did you just exit "
To avoid any save problems press Esc then go to main menu then exit.
You should be able to get back your main progress from the Profile Backup folder.
Seeing we have so many Auto updates every minute or so :)
Go here and open ArchivalSaves
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean\House Flipper Game\Profiles\Profile 1\ArchivalSaves
They are dated with current time, copy out the one you want closest to the time.
then go back and open your UserSaves>Profile 1 and paste it in there.
Launch HF from Steam Play press continue.
If it mucks up go back UserSaves>Profile 1 and delete it.
Maybe keep that folder minimized till you find out if it works.

I don't have any files in my ArchivalSaves folder and I also don't have a profile.backup folder in my House Flipper Game folder, only normal Profiles.... Am I stupid or is the guide missing something???

try this new guide as the thread above is dated 2019. But some steps are note worthy of repeating since the steps havent changed.

The only save I have is steam_autocloud.vdf. There is no ArchivalSaves folder. The backups for the current profile only start from yesterday, which I've been playing it since 6 April, according to a few files in the profile folder for this profile. Losing progress needs to be stopped, rather than having players scramble to find out how to do restores. I didn't notice the lost progress, because it was with houses I had not visited for days, and I had flipped many houses in between! So, I cannot restore anything without losing a ton of progress.

I lost all my progress in the game and the solution presented didn't solve crap because it conflicts with no steam cloud. These programmers are a joke.
