I dont want a garden, I just want to mow the yard so it looks good. This would be a requirement to actually flipping a property.
Again, Garden is not what I have a problem with. A simple way to cut the grass that should be in the main game. Nobody would buy a house with 5 foot tall grass. The decorations I dont have a problem with being a DLC, but a basic grass cutting mechanic should be in the base game. We shouldnt be forced to pay $15 to mow the lawn.
Smart marketing is including some basic features into a game, they could've kept grass short and then expanded on gardening like flowers, trees, ponds etc in a dlc
The most successful games are the ones that give you great content and extra. Look at the Witcher franchise, they advertised the game for the story it had and the quality of the graphics but you get so much more included, like dynamic lighting, weather all effects, dialogue that can change even from the slightest decision, they could've done what house flipper did and just do a story and day and night and well anything else we'll put in a dlc but they didn't and it's one of the most highest rated games on steam
It's very rare these decisions just happened one day anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if it was purposefully held back

It even works after using the flamethrower too, draging the carpet around will restore the TURF layer
