Are radiators necessary?
I've seen some of the many topics discussing radiators and whether they're used IRL, etc., but my question is: when flipping houses, are they necessary? Like, does having them improve the house value? Selling the installations pulls in some nice change, but would it ultimately be more lucrative to install radiators?

I used them in all my houses when I first started selling them, but they got in my way and looked out of place since I'm in the US and radiators aren't used like in the past. I can't say that I noticed a big difference in payment when selling a house after I quit putting them in the houses. To make sure that I don't have to worry about my buyers freezing, I put a thermostat on the wall (for central heating) that Is available in the workshop. Problem solved.

I think in the script. A house needs to be warm so radiators are there in the shop. but, in the Workshop there are some really nice radiator alternatives. I only really put a towel radiator in the bathroom. I don't think it has ever increased or decreased the price. Same as power points. It's what you would want in the house, not what should be in the house.

So, it's essentially an aesthetic choice?

I have not played House Flipper for a while, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
You should not have bare radiator installations in a house, so in that case radiators are necessary. But you can sell these or not install them in the first place, then at least you don't get penalized. Over all you earn slightly more money, if you install radiators, though.

I usually take them out and replace them with a fire or wood stove - it looks a lot cosier!

I always sell radiators and radiator plumbing systems. This brings a lot of money and makes it easier to hang curtains. No buyers ever ask for them anyway.

I sell all radiators and radiator plumbing systems AND all power outlets (except for when they require a repair - you can't sell those). It's not like you really need them.

Thanks all. I usually sell them too, but I wanted to make sure.

Depending am I going slightly more modern or something slightly older look.
And also where I would think the house is located in the world.

"old look" and potentially cold climate, I use radiators.
"Slightly more modern" it most likely has "floor heating" therefore no radiators
"Warm climate" No radiators Potentially Air-Conditioning.
and so on.
