The moles have gone crazy!

Ever since the latest update the moles (molehills in my case, since I've got that box ticked off) have really gone crazy. I think it is the fifth time I'm removing them from this one house right now - and if I play for a bit, I know they'll start turning up again, because that's what happened with the other house.
Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes. Drac has a serious mole problem, always in the back right corner of his property.

Cliff house every time I log in, there's a mole hill over to the left of the front walkway. I already saw the mole scamper off days ago when I started on that house. The mole doesn't show up when I knock down the hill, but it is a little extra work to smack it down each time I get to that house the first time that day.

There is an achievement > Wack a Mole :D , chase a mole with a shovel and hit it once you got it the moles dont appear as often
Now I just use the push mower and destroy them quickly. I've seen the moles in just a couple of the luxury houses and the castle cant say if its an increase though.
If I go back to the original garden houses then yeah there's a lot more.

Every time you buy a house, there is a chance that you'll get the mole with it, however it looks like the mole might have been included in the castle's file as you can see the mole mounds in the picture of the castle in the laptop's browser. Just a bit of extra work & fun, normally, except at the moment there's an issue in the game with some types of work progress not being saved. The mole might be coming back to the castle because of that issue. It could also explain the mole reoccurring often in other houses, if they got the mole by chance. Once the work progress issue is sorted out, we may find the mole invasion also dealt with. Fingers crossed!

In the meantime, the easy solution is to not get rid of the mole or mounds until right before you're ready to sell the property. That way, you'll only need to do it once.

As it stands right now I think you're right dark_haunt, I'll leave further removal of molehills (because I know that when I open up the game again it will start all over again) until the last minute. Seeing as how I've removed them and gone to work on the interior of the house only to see the red circles start to pop up along the side of the minimap after a while, chances are it will be covering all of the outside by the time I'm done. XP
