Windows
While playing the newest update of house flipper I've noticed that when I try to replace some of the windows some of the windows provided in the store are not usable due to the game telling me that there isn't enough space provided to place the window of my choice even tho there is clearly enough space. For example, currently I'm working on the office building to turn it into an apartment floor. While trying to replace one of the large Jerry window 200X275cm non-opening window with a Joshua window 100X275cm non-opening window, it tells me that there isn't enough space to fit the window even tho it's half the size from left to right. If at all possible I'd like for this to be fixed so that I can have more freedom with changing the windows.

Try stepping back 2 steps then forward and line up the base insuring the instep is inside. That message can popup and not actually mean it will never fit just juggle around a bit with it.

Can you still see the old window through the "ghost" of the new one? Because I'm having a similar problem at the laundromat, and it seems like there is some kind of bug where the old window doesn't get removed properly and still exists inside the wall.

If I understand you.
This is a new feature with HF from Luxury DLC
Buy new windows and place them in the brick wall, then a hammer indicates- being hit with the hammer to reveal it,
then E to use it :)
Does this resolve it for you?
It also works for replacement of doors.
Use 1 or 2 windows instead of doors. Sara window 250 x 200 cm or for larger :)
Sounds unusual, but these windows will be like sliding glass doors.

I’m currently working on the laundromat too but I so far haven’t run into an issue like that where I’m still seeing the old outline of the old window. For that renovation changing the windows for me have been going well so far. Also, for the reply about the office building I’ll give that a try next time I play the game thank you for the suggestion. 😊

That was exactly what I did, but the window I chose doesn't fit, according to the message. I cannot back-up anymore, because there is a wall. I'm not that close. This bloody feature should work! You shouldn't have to hold your tongue in your left cheek just so. I picked a window and clicked it on a windowless outer wall. I broke through the wall as indicated. I've even tried pulling up the hammer again, but it does nothing more. STILL the bloody window doesn't fit in the space. This is very poor game design. I was excited to finally have this feature. :-( I still think the devs do not actually test anything in this game. They just throw it out there in an alpha phase and use players as guinea pigs.
