OUTSIDE WALLS!

Ok, so I have purchased a house and I am trying to do it up to sell it. I have a serious problem though! There are a couple of walls that have huge pieces missing, so i tried to build it and it refuses to let me. The top part of the wall i am trying to put in is already there, so it is just red. I can't demolish the part that is already there either. How do i fill in the huge missing parts of wall? It won't let me plaster because there isn't any wall to plaster. I am seriously stuck! Do i have to play more and unlock things? Or is it just broken?

If parts of the OUTSIDEwalls are missing it's a bug! Outsidewalls can't be tempered with. Have you tried leaving the lot (hit ESC and "go to the ofiice") and then go back? This might solve the problem.

Would that happen to be the "house in a thicket" house? If so, then that's not a bug - the house is just designed that way. You can't do anything about it other than install double doors, I'm afraid

(Or two singles, if it will let you, but that might just look too odd.)

So i just checked, they are still there. It's like half the wall at the bottom hasn't been built but the upper/roof has. The holes were covered up by boards so they most definitely should be like that. I just have no clue on what to do now i have removed the boards! Argh! So annoying

Okay, I think I know what you are talking about. You're supposed to put sliding doors in those holes. You find them under DOORS < DOORS 2M x 2M

Magica! I think maybe you are right. It allows me to add double sliding doors and they fit perfectly! They look awesome too. I am so frustrated with myself for spending HOURS on this and not even realising haha. Thank you SOOOOO much!
