Need pool lounge chairs help

Hi. I'm fairly new in the game. I'm doing the garden DLC job titled "A small lawn and a pool"where they wanted their yard mowed and a swimming pool placed near their terrace so they can enjoy. All the mowing is done and the pool dug, in the ground and filled. My problem are those 2 pesky lounge chairs. I purchased two of them and placed. Game didn't acknowledge those were done. I moved them to several places. I also sold and re-purchased but still says not done. What am I missing? Otherwise am enjoying the game. TIA

I had the same thing happen, and solved it by chance by walking around the back yard. When you go to place the pool an area of the backyard is highlighted as the place to put the pool. This area covers most of the backyard, but not all of it. You have to be standing in this area when purchasing and placing the lounge chairs, or they don't count as part of the pool task. You can't be on the porch, or on the side yard or the other half of the backyard, you have to be in the area for the pool! Once you have purchased and placed them in this area, and gotten them to count towards the task, you can then move them somewhere else.
