Can you rotate the doors? Maybe it has front and back?
When I had a troublesome door stepping back from it then place it from further away seemed to work..
Is it called Century Old House?
Maybe its windowed french doors
Yes the Luxury DLCI, I'm playing the Historic House, I have tried rotating, moving in or out, no help. The door fits, it will snap in either in the middle or either side, the problem is that the space is so wide that none of the doors I want will fit in together to close the huge gaping hole in the house. I even tried building walls to close the gap and using windows to fill the gap but walls can only be used in the interior and windows don't work unless there is a wall already there. Pretty frustrating but what can you do?
I am going to just wait and see on this one.
don't jinx it xD
Good to hear you solve it :)
Imagine my surprise to find I put the biggest door in backwards! Lol
when putting in doors always put the Recessed part torward the inside or torward the room it goes too, found out on some of the client jobs if ya put them in backwards it doesn;t count so I know how that feels lol
Ahhh, well that makes sense then. I would love to see left/right hand swing doors but I'm sure that would be nit picking, lol.
It should be easy enough to add main wall door movement now that the windows feuture is in place, they just have to apply the same thing to doors
Yes that is an issue, but I didn't have molding in the doorways that I was trying to put doors in. These are exterior doors I was having problems with. I believe part of the issue is that you can only use certain doors in some of the openings. Since you cannot change the size of the opening you are pretty limited in some houses. I would love to see this changed to perhaps the same mechanic that they use with the windows. Until then, we just accept what we cannot change and work within the limits of that. Still it doesn't change how much I like the game!
Please forgive my oversight, I went back and re-played that house and you are absolutely right about the floor molding. I never even realized there WAS floor molding there! Thank you for pointing it out and again, forgive me for not double checking in the first place!
