Renovate Furniture

Does anyone know how to do this? I was able to do it perfectly fine on the anchor mission, did a few of the story renos, then decided to buy the Lousy Contractor house. Think it's called the House that caught fire when you buy it, but I can't for the world of me figure out how to refinish furniture.

I don't know if this is a story line mechanic only, or something you unlock later on, but the only option I have is to sell the furniture.

Anyone else figured out how to do this?

You can only renovate specific pieces of furniture that are in only some of the jobs. The Lousy Contractor job doesn't have anything that needs restoring. The first job has the anchor but I think the next one with furniture renovation is the 5th or 6th one, where you're merging a nightclub/bar and an apartment. That one is a dressing table and stool. There's one after that, a music school, that has a few renovation items too.

Well that is just horrid... Really thought they were going to let you redo just about anything.. Oh well, thank you for that info!

Yes, unfortunately the system for it is very limited. Hopefully they'll extend it to cover more items at some point.
