Job Not Completed But Nothing Else to Do

I'm working on the 100% completion achievement and this one particular project, the Kindergarten one, sits at 96% completed; I re-visited each room over and over, and there's nothing else I need to do; it doesn't indicate I have anything else I need to do on the outside either, I'm not sure what's going on. What am I missing?

Did you get the paint colours in the right proportion? Right number of tiles? I had trouble with that too. Ended up with stripes.

I painted every wall, even the external edges. And I was still at just under 99%.
Now granted, I was painting each room that needed more than one shade of paint,in a stripe pattern lol. I thought, hey, its a kids classroom, why not male it look like a circus tent?
I even made sure to double check each paint stripe, in case I had run out of paint on the roller just before finishing it. But no.
Gave up in the end, and just took the money I had, since it wasn't much less. That's happened to me with a garden once too.

Yes, everything was done according to the requirements. Usually if I miss a tile or what not, it'll say it's incomplete. I've done probably 10+ walkthroughs of each room and they all say complete, but my overall progress sits at 96%. I believe this is the last one I need to do before getting the 100% complete achievement since I don't think the achievement takes the garden pack into consideration.

All I can offer is a hug and also make sure there isn't that tiny piece to the left and right of the window frame unpainted.

Jobs sometimes get bugged. Just complete it at 96%, get your money and restart the same job, try again.

did you open up any cupboards and move around furniture. im sure i found a can in the cupboard of the kitchen room cupboard.

Not that I recall. Also whenever I walk into a room it doesn't say I have anymore tasks left to do as it usually does when a room is incomplete. This is literally the last job I need to get the perfection achievement so it's grinding my nerves a little bit haha.

Try saving and going back to the office, then again back into the job. Helped me get to 100% on a few jobs. just some weird glitches.

If all the rooms seem to be complete, then you probably didn't miss anything and it's just a glitch.
As some users said, try restarting the job and see what happens.

I've just completed the Kindergarten job at 100% without any problems.

Did you add anything to any of the rooms? Did you buy a light or a decoration or a piece of furniture? I've noticed that adding things keeps some jobs from being complete until you remove what you added.

No I’ve only purchased what was required, no additional items were placed. I tried restarting the job and still no luck,

I went into my game and re did this job, trying to replicate the error. And sure enough, i could only get 99%. So in the room with the kitchen sink, and beanbags, i moved the sink out of the way and found 2 cans. Dont know if this will help, just trying to help.

Yeah, there is some rubbish hidden under the kitchen cabinets. Plus the toilet cubicles are easy to miss. Each counts as a separate room. Their tasks are not included in the main list of tasks within the toilets.
