Rookie has 2 questions about furniture and 'hard' assembly mode
Hi guys.
I bought the game yesterday and played till depp into the night...
I have 2 questions:
1) Is there any logic to when a sink will start spilling water from the installation water pipes?
It seems like half of the time, the pipes in the wall will start spilling, as soon as I start assembling the sink before I can make any mistake in the assembly.
So why does it happen with sinks and sometimes it doesn't?

2) Is there any point in putting more expensive variantes of furniture into a house I bought to renovate and sell, or when doing eMail assignments?
I think, some of the buyers like certain expensive things, but does it actually make a difference at the sale price at the auction?
Will I make my money back when spending more?

1. I don't know, but as Nite69 said, the valves are easy to hit when you click the pipe, so that makes the water spill. I never use hard assembly, because I think it takes long enough. Don't feel like fiddling more with assembly than necessary.

2. There are a few buyers that want expensive things. Dolan for his office and hallway/corridor (because facade matters) and maybe Jimmy Traitor, although he's more into "don't leave ANYTHING old and run-down when cleaning/clearing out the house" or he'll throw a fit. He wants new, modern stuff. Some buyers actually prefers cheap furniture, like Jack Tarrington, because he's renting out the houses. Also the Johnsons, because apparently they're not bothering to tell their kids not to damage things. I think, other than that, it doesn't really matter. As long as I get a profit, I really don't pay much attention to sale price.

Money will eventually be no problem whatsoever. I usually end up with so much of it, I can buy every house 5 times (all DLC's), and still have enough to fully renovate and furnish them. There's nothing really expensive to spend money on, like cars etc. Hoping the Luxury DLC will change that :)

Question 1) has kinda been answered here:

Seems to be a bug where the game double-registers pressing "E", which will result in instant spill. Hmm. So at least it's not me.

The on / off valves for the sink spin with the pipe that goes into the wall so its very easy to hit them by accident

its not a big deal really

Thx.
For me, the sink starts spilling 50% of the time when I click one of the two black anchors.
Even when carefully avoiding clicking anything else.
(speaking from the cheapest sink)
Ofc it's not big deal, but when I assemble something, I want it to be done "right" and not lose the mini game when it's apparently not my fault.

Anyway. Thanks for the answers.
