Trim question?

is it not possible to butt the trim next to each piece as it looks weird with a gap between the sections in the corners
or am i over looking corner trim pieces

When you say trim, do you mean Architrave or mouldings. If so, when you place any of
these, end to end at an angle, there are fillers, which you must put in, to finish the join.

there are also corner pieces to use to ensure they are meet up nicely.
