Horror House and murder house critics.
I really find it wrong to put such a House in the game. I bought it for having fun. I hate horror in all forms and can not appreciate that this is implemented in the game. I think this just doesn't belong in there. I didn't see any age rating for this game but for such elements it really should have! The blood, sounds and other horror stuff is simply disturbing. Note: This is of course my personal opinion but I just wanted to let the developers know how I feel about it.

There is nothing forcing you to buy either house. If you don't like em, just don't buy em. It's that simple.

I agree with the above post, if you don't like the house then skip it! These guys try hard to appeal to all crowds and also include the ability to skip what you dont like!

Yes. I understand. I can skip the house and do the other ones. It is just very unexpected to be confronted with blood, posters with graphic content and jump scares. They should at least put an age limit on the game, not? Or give a warning that the game contains graphic images.

The rating is at the moment: suitable for persons ages 6 and older. I do not think a 6 year old should see things like knifes in bunny's head or blood splatters on the wall.

I realize that a parent always has to keep an eye on children playing games but with such a game like this it is very unexpected that such content is being implemented. Nothing shows or warns for the discussed content.

Personally, I wish they included more haunted houses and murder scenes to mix it up a little bit.

I agree that those houses are not suitable for 6 year olds. I get startled easily and I couldn't go into the house that was dark. A separate game or dlc with haunted houses / murder houses would have been better, then people could choose to have them or not.

1000% agree! There are other games like Crime Scene Cleanup that people can play if they're into the macabre. House Flipper should be exactly what it's advertised to be: renovating houses to flip for a profit. Flipping houses does not include cleaning up after murder scenes.

A separate DLC for those who want it would've been perfect (or a separate game altogether), because telling the OP to "just not buy those houses" is also saying "Don't ever get the Game Over achievement, and don't ever get to the sandbox mode where you can re-buy any houses you choose."

There are plenty of gore and blood games out there, and some of us don't EVER play them, for personal reasons. Some people are so immune to the horrific nature of such things it doesn't faze them....makes you wonder how much of their humanity has been lost as a result.

Perhaps an option would be some kind of warning before you buy the house, and a "click here if you want the house unhaunted". I can't do scary/haunted stuff, so I immediately googled the house once I realized it was different. Someone had posted how to "unhaunt" the house, which thankfully takes places outside and does not involve anything scary other than the atmosphere.

Yeah.. be glad about it. I was so dumb to go in and got pretty scared. Especially seeing a person crawling away when I opened a door. In the game are no people at all except in that house. It totally scared me and I regret that I went in. It would have been nice if an unhaunted option would be there because the house itself was pretty cool.

I was only able to do that house because I read the Guide that told me how to disable all the disturbing effects. Then I was able to turn it into a beautiful Danish hygge-style house (Hygge House 2, in my videos).
