Cut content on ps4 release

Is there a reason for half of the game missing on consoles?

Was considering buying it on ps4 today until i noticed that over 100 items and a lot of houses where cut from the garden dlc. The apocalypse dlc is also not available. The game with the dlc's are priced alot higher and i see no reason why.

I was wondering about the free DLCs myself, but I can only imagine they were not a major priority to port over. I know DLC ports can take quite a bit of time (as well as updates on console) and those would not even be for a payment, plus different platforms have different ones available as evidence. So on the free DLC, I'll just say patience is a virtue. It may never come, but House Flipper is far from the end of its life cycle.

As things cut from the garden DLC, I never heard about that. I have house flipper on PC (do not wish to play with a controller), but I do play on PS4, too. Is it actually cut or was it update stuff that just has not made it through the pipeline yet?

If you read the description on the ps4 storepage for the garden dlc it says nothing about the 3 new houses that are included in the PC edition. Also says there are 500 items while on steam there are 600.

When it comes to the free dlc's i do not mind them not being included, but if i'm buying a 20 dollar dlc i want to know what content i'm getting and what i'm missing out on lol.

I wish the developers could help clear this up, its a bit confusing since i do not know what is actually missing and will it be the same story for future dlc down the line?

I see. Since I had not seen this before I would personally lean towards giving the differing descriptions the benefit of the doubt, but I definitely understand the concern. (Garden Flipper released before I bought the game, so I did not follow development to know if updates added content later that could account for the discrepancies.) If all else fails, email, right?

There have been quite a few items added since the Garden Flipper DLC was released, on a few occasions now. Lots of new plants, the Japanese garden style (and associated contest), some furniture/swatches, paving slabs etc etc etc. So it could well be that the description for the PC version got updated, but they forgot to change the info for the PS4 version (especially if the info is shown in the PS Store as that might require different steps to be altered/might have forgotten to change it there/typos are a thing). Or it could be that as the console release was later and the DLC was also later, that updates to the DLC will also come later as they work through them to port them to the different format.
