Ran out of houses?
I think the game showed me around 25 houses. Now I have completed them all, there is nothing left in the "for sale" section. I check the steam page and see all kind of houses I didnt see in my game. I see someone had a pool house and beach house renovation. I didnt see those in my game. So what gives? After doing the 25 or so houses, that's it no more game?

If you have downloaded or purchased all of the available DLCs, and completed all of the Garden and HGTV jobs (to unlock those houses to purchase), you should have 41 houses in your browser.

3 come with the free Apocalypse DLC; 3 come with the Gardens DLC; 10 come with the HGTV DLC; 4 came out as free base game updates (Home Alone House, Moon House, Cyberpunk Apartment, Turtle House); 1 was a free update to the Apocalypse DLC (Samarta Myers House) and the other 20 came with the base game.

The game is open-ended in that you can continue to play it even after you reach the game's 'final goal'. There are end credits that play after you buy, flip and sell all of the houses at least once (except for your office at the time), however if you go back into your game after that, all of the houses will be unlocked so you can purchase them as often as you wish to.

To unlock some of the houses, you need to do the jobs that are set in those houses. You'll get them through your game's laptop's email section. The emails come one or a few at a time, more adding after each finished job. So It could be that you haven't reached some of them there yet, if you stopped doing jobs for some reason. The Garden jobs are pretty late in the list.

The HGTV houses are different. On your laptop, there's a map showing the HGTV area. You have to go through that and click on each of the 10 houses as they come available for jobs there. As with the emails, you start off only having access to one, then the rest will become available as you go. Only 10 of the houses are unlockable, however clicking on the house from The Simpsons (top row if I recall correctly) will unlock an achievement.

Am I the only one that just wants more jobs? For auction I only like to purchase the disaster houses (flood/fire). Also, the moon base was a let down.

You answered a lot of questions I had been wondering about. I just want to clarify though.... are you saying that with the HGTV houses, that after you complete the quests you will be able to actually purchase the houses and flip them? Can we move our office to one of them at that point as well? Also, on the HGTV map, I've done 3 houses and it says there is 1 available but I can't find it on the map. Just the 3 green checks of the houses I'e done. Thanks again for your great explanations!

Snazzycatz; Yes, you start off with a map that has one house with a job ready for you to do. You go in, do the job there and that unlocks the next house on the map, as well as the house you just worked on for you to buy, flip and auction off to the usual buyers. By the time you've done all 10 of the HGTV house jobs, you'll have all 10 houses unlocked. (If you've already bought and sold all of the houses in the game before you got the HGTV DLC, then they'll all be unlocked for limitless buying/selling too.)

Yes, you can move your office to any of the HGTV houses. One of the achievements is earned by moving to one of the beach houses, by the way. (I believe it needs to be one of the ones directly on the beach, so there are a couple that work.)

Sometimes the houses that unlock are off the initial part of the map that's visible so you may need to move around to find them. Move your cursor to the edge of the map to move in that direction (if it gets stuck, go back to the main map, then back in for another try).

I hope this helps! :)

I had something really weird happen yesterday. I came home to my office after working on a flip, and there were pipes for washers and showers all over my kitchen. I did not put them there. Ever have that happen?

Not that particular thing, no, however there was a glitch with some of the HGTV houses (just after the DLC came out) where any plumbing system that was removed would reappear when you went back into the game. I had that happen to me a few times. That bug was fixed a long time ago, however I believe there are still occasional mentions of it happening that seem to be one-off glitches. I'd suggest exiting the game, (maybe verifying the game files if you want to, I'm not sure this is something it would help with but it couldn't hurt) and then going back in. If they're still there, get a screenshot and report it over on House Flipper's Discord, or report it through the game.

Thanks, this happened before I started the HGTV DLC, I was flipping the regular houses still. Finished and sold one, came back to my office house (house with car unit) and there were all kinds of pipes all over my kitchen area. I deleted them went and did some chores at a different house and came back to find the pipes again.
