Yes, it is indeed a pain in the eyes. But it is not clean. The windows are still dirty.
I tried and sold the house as it was and made 14,08€ without haggling.
With cleaned windows and mowed lawn and removed weeds I made 3925,48€ without haggling.
If you sell some of the clutter and haggle the price, you will earn more money.
This is the purpose of all houses: earn ingame money.
I like its layout, and there is a car. So I often chose it as my new office.

I have been known to re-paint/cover the outsides of houses! There is a semi-detached pink house that's quite the eyesore as well, but in the middle of a black/white/gray modern garden it's almost cheerful.

Like obviously people must like that, but I'm not one of them. I am dying for some old fashioned wallpaper, with the non-minimalist print. Some dang wall to wall carpet for my poor frozen feet. Some pre-"contrived durability" furniture. So as some languishing slub who's interior aesthetic is "grandma" I can appreciate fellow crazy people.

EDIT: to be clear, I respect your opinion and I'm happy your enjoying yourself. I kind of got lost in the rant and don't want to think I don't value your input.

LOL @ "death of color!" Yeah, I hear that. The grays are about the best colors in the game, absent a few. I do like color--I live in a pale yellow house and love it. I also have colorful walls inside! And my house is pretty much Craftsman style (think Frank Lloyd Wright). It would be nice to have a blue or yellow siding option.

I think they made it pink to get on our last nerves. ;)

Cabbage rose wallpaper! Or hey, what about Art Nouveau or Art Deco papers and colors? I'm *very* fond of those. And all thing Craftsman. And natural stone... okay, stop me now.

The "modern" monochrome thing is so over with.
