Profile not loading after reinstalling OS

Decided to come back to this game after a while away, I rebuilt my machine recently to Garuda Linux (was on Pop_OS last time I played and ran Manjaro before that) and found my original save profile wasn't loading. I copied back the 'House Flipper Game' folder to /steam/steamapps/compatdata/613100/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Empyrean/ (had to do this last time from memory as Steam didn't download my profile correctly) but it still doesn't recognise it. Found the HF Workshop also has it's own folder as well under .steam/steam/userdata/%userid%/1471280/ so copied the folder there also, but still doesn't recognise it.

Has anything changed in the file structure for profile saves? This method has worked fine in the past when I've changed distro's or reinstalled to another disk. The game itself runs fine and I even tried starting a new game, saving and overwriting the HFgame folders afterwards but it still remembered the new game profile.
