High half walls..how to make them an actual wall

Hello, I am new to the game and have been playing almost non-stop. I bought a house that has several huge areas for which I am assuming sliding glass doors. I would like to enclose one of them with an actual wall. I turned on the "half" wall and it would only go to the top (where there was already a half wall) I tried placing in a full wall and it will not allow me to close it off. Am I missing something, a code, or a way to complete. The other question is; why can I not tear down an outside wall?

The game doesn't allow modification to any of the outside walls. So no changing sliding glass door openings, regular door openings, or windows. You can change any of the interior walls, and if you want the lintels ("upper walls") removed to put in full walls, you just use the sledgehammer to knock down the upper walls and then build full walls in their place.

I do wish they had the option to have half walls as well as lintels.

Well, they do have one or two options to do so in the new Workshop items, but I think they're limited to that particular color. I hope to see more of those!

If u want to close a wall inside which has halfwalls. U have to tear them down before replacing them with the full wall.
