Buyer Guide for Gardens?
Has anyone made or found a guide for what the different buyers want in a garden, or the garden type they want?

Unless the devs have updated it, the buyers do not care the slightest bit about the garden.

They have indeed updated it, because some of the stuff I did in the garden adjusted who would buy the house.

The exterior of the home..... garden.... doesn't make much (if any) difference to the buyers but,...... if you enter it into the garden show / contest..... then it increases the value of the home for any buyer interested.

".........some of the stuff I did in the garden adjusted who would buy...."

This maybe misleading. The list of buyers is always the same but, you only see the one's MOST interested and willing to pay the most. They constantly bounce up and down in the list depending on your actions. A great example of this is the college student. He just wants something similar to a college dorm room with study desk n such. You can watch him disappear from the list just by knocking down some walls. And, then pop back up the list when you drop a desk next to a bed.

With exception of cleaning and fixing the exterior along with pulling weeds, removing trash and mole mounds, they don't change positions when planting plants, chopping down trees, mowing, setting up garden decorations and furniture. At least, that hasn't been my experience. They stay the same in the list. The exception is if you take too long to prepare the home for market, then someone might drop off the visible list or drop to a lower ranking. And, I have to assume this must be a time thing.... like some game timer decides they lose interest somewhat. But, it's never been for anything I'm doing in the garden that I can tell.

Correct in that I meant it adjusted the position of the buyers. However, it absolutely made a difference. I was converting a house for Tarinton and had him at the top throughout my garden setup with the deck, pool, chairs, and tables. However, once I added the Outdoor Theater and Projector and Playset, the Jonson family popped up to the top, which caused me no end of frustration, as removing those items did not help. Thankfully, I had not yet added a second sofa inside the house and once I did, Tarinton rose up from 2nd to 1st place again.

But yeah, stuff in the garden definitely has an effect on the buyers. Though perhaps not all things and not all buyers.

Good to know. Will have to experiment with things some more then on the outside.
