Exterior Walls
I am confused because I can do only one of the above, plaster different textures onto exterior walls or just have flat paint. Both look really ugly and weird and I was wondering if there is someway I can have both. Please let me know, Thanks!

I dont know if you can see it, but ive used the new panels with half tiles on the stilts...and paintet the rest...so thats an ex. If you paint a hole house it kind of looks flat, but if you then use fx the wood panels in all the corners like a frame ...it gives a new look. If you have money enough , you can always try different things to se what u like best..

They mean like on a two storey house you could do paint on the top and panels on the bottom floor. Or you could have a bit that sticks out in panels and the rest painted. You can't place say the brick panels and then paint them a different colour.
I wish there were more exterior wall types as there aren't very many which look like what you tend to see in my country. There are only two colours for the bricks which is a shame because that's the most common building material for houses here and there are lots of shades of brick and even stone bricks which get used. Panels aren't that common here other than as a small feature on part of the house and covering the brick beneath.
