spread the grass roll?

Im on a job that keeps saying to"spread grass roll" even though ive covered it in grass it says 0% anyone have any ideas?

Try checking for gaps between the rolls you have spread - sometimes there is a tiny gap that can equal 1 or 2%. OR roll the grass roll along the edge of the area it's needed in in case there is a small gap between what you have laid and the very edge of the area. Not sure this will work, but this is what I try when I have this problem.

If you are certain you're laying it in the right area your game should register that some grass has been laid, even if it's not 100%. To me this means that either you're not laying the right material or you've got a bug.
If you're sure you're using exactly what you've been asked for, in the right area, go back to the office and then come back to the house and see if that forces it to register.

If that doesn't work quit game and then go back in.
You could try verifying your local files by right clicking the game listing on Steam, select properties, click the local tab and then click the verify button.

Very last resort uninstall, reinstall and verify before contacting support.

I covered it completely and it says 0% so i just completedd it at 88% total, it must be a glitch because its never happened before or since but thanks for the reply's!

yes i covered it completely and it says 0% but i completed the whole game and started a new game so ill see if i run into that glitch again

I am another one having the same problem with the lady who wants a barbeque/campfire area for her kids or grandkids. (don't have the game open right now-maybe it was 'house after the flood'?). I've searched and read through other steam posts about the same problem on the same job. I've tried to repeat this job following all the suggestions: (1)Don't run a roll of turf all across the front area that covers two different numbered sections of jobs (i.e. half the roll in the front yard, half the roll across the side yard), (2) don't run over the sidewalk, stay close to the green glowing line that borders each numbered section, (3) don't run the roll way past the bordered area doing more than is necessary, as it may not count at all (4) do each section in order, starting with section 1 in the front yard, and there were a couple more I don't recall. Nothing worked. I started the job over again and again, carefully working on section 1 this last time. The first roll, medium roll - not small or large roll- still registered 0 percent after the first run. Since this was the third time I've re-tried this job, I just gave up after that 1st run. I have verified local game files which were fine. I had the whole yard covered the first time and got 0 percent. All the other job orders have worked just fine. It sounds like perhaps you are working on the same job o.s.o.g.? Maybe there is something really simple that we are doing wrong or not reading right, since others have obviously completed this job, but I can't imagine what it is. {keeping an eye on this thread}

Yes it sounds exactly like the same job, i started a new game so i cant find which job it was but i completed the whole game and never had an issue on any other jobs so i think its a glitch. If i run into the problem again i will share which job is the problem!
