Oh well...
For now, I've got the entire Profiles folder synced to Drive, and I already make a hard backup to another SSD after every major play session which I'll keep doing in case Drive borks syncing for some reason. I've literally never synced anything to Drive before but this game has pretty much made it a requirement because I don't want to lose my work. Yes, I could hand-upload new in-game house/job screenshots without resorting to sync, but that's a pain since I'd have to go off time/date as they're all just randomly-numbered file names. Or, I could delete all the screenshots from the two relevant folders (CatchedTextures_BeforeSummary.dat and CatchedTextures_AfterSummary.dat) which I did try once already as a test, and the save does load fine but of course all the pics of projects are gone from the archive. I put back the relevant files and went the Drive sync route because I want a system where there's hopefully no chance of corrupting the save.
