Building a house extension with fences and garden stairs
One of my favourite houses has always been "Almost Only A Garden" simply because it has a huge garden I can make rambling paths with, plant up a veggie garden and live peacefully. As much as I love the challenge of small houses, the little cottage didn't have quite enough room for even just the basics.

So I decided to go proper country style and build an outdoor bathroom. Not exactly the easiest thing given we can't build extensions or new walls in the same way we can inside. What we can do though is get creative with stacking garden stairs, using fences for walls and getting lucky with placing plumbing fixtures on the exterior walls of the actual proper house.

These screenshots are the end result. Not a "perfect" home extension, but has a nice rustic feel to it.

Pity i don't make screenshots of my housese, but i managed to make a nice one room with everithing in it.
I made a small bathroom in the corner, and a kitchen next to it, the rest i managed to place a single bed and a small table for dinner.
it turned out pretty cozy, and i sold at the artsy girl :D

I've done an outside tented room before using the gazebo as the roof, then fences around it, but hadn't thought of trying to place the bathroom stuff against the wall of the exterior. That's really clever!
I did take some pictures using the tablet of what I did with that tiny shed - managed to fit everything you could need into it. But I can't find the photos anymore. It seems like every now and then they get rid of the pictures taken by the camera. When I first got the game you could pick the location they were saved to, then they did an update and moved it somewhere specific and in doing so that deleted my images I'd saved in my own created folder. And also deleted them from the in game camera reel. And now those saved again get periodically cleared out now which is pretty annoying as I took the photos to remember what I built after selling them and so I could show them to my boyfriend.

I tend to hit "H" to turn off the UI and just use the Steam F12 screenshot function. Makes it easier for me to find them :)

What type of flooring did you use to be able to install the toilet?

Toilets can be installed on grass, maybe because outside loos are a thing? The rest had to be up against the dwelling wall though.

I've also recently found out, and this may be common knowledge, but you can build a wall, affix bathtub plumbing to it, the knock down the wall and the plumbing will stay in place. It's an excellent way to put a bath tub in the middle of a large, fancy looking bathroom
