When do you now get access to the sell gun?

I have run some cursory search but found no answer. I did read a thread that was from last year reporting a sell gun bug but I'm on a new install and a new game. So my guess is that there must be something that needs to be done to get the sell gun. I can't sell anything from the 1st office house so what could be getting in my way?

Of course, I've done jobs but I am asking which mission is supposed to become available because so far It has not shown up and I just finished the Amaranth and Grey paint job. The last time I played it was not like this.

From what I can see, the first mission with a sell gun is "Baby on the Way" from Mat Marlow.

Usually it's after doing the first mission with a new tool that a new ability unlocks. It's possible that you were wrapped up in learning and playing the game the first time around, so remembering specifics might be a bit hazy. I'm just saying that in general. :)

To answer the original question, I believe the first mission that appears that allows you to access the sell tool is the 'Additional walls' mission, which on the bottom left of the screen appears as 'Order: Own room' while in the mission.
