Boring House Basement

I place wall panels in the basement when I leave and I come back they are gone and I loose money.

I normally don't even touch the panels unless it's for the outside of the house just for this reason, otherwise i either paint or use wall tiles.

I tiled my basement walls in this house twice today before realizing that the saving issue was ONLY the basement walls and not a total save failure. I can't believe this bug still exists, it's been over 3 months since this post. I'm getting quite a collection of houses I can't finish due to various bugs.

best not to touch the basement until this gets officially fixed then, I'd hate to spend so much time on something only to have it disappear.

The "boring house" is my current office. The paint on the basement walls and the paneling in my basement sauna disappear every time I leave the house. I've stopped replacing it, but a brick sauna looks ridiculous. Devs, please fix this.
