Total Build add on ?

Would it not be a great idea to have a DLC addon that you can just buy a piece of land and totally build a house of your own design ?
Looks like the game already has most of the programming already available. Would just need some refinements to be able to extend the game further.
Seems to be a natural progression of the game to me, from flipping, to building.

This is House Flipper, a game where you're flipping houses. Building houses from scratch would be a different game.

Besides, HF have limitations which is why we can't modify outer walls to begin with.

Maybe look for a construction sim if you wanna build houses.

I agree it would be a good idea, but there are so many so many negative comments every time this suggestion is brought up. Are you telling me a builder does not buy a house to flip and on occasion adds to the external structure to maximise his profit?
I've played this game to death and have had a lot of fun, but for me it is starting to get tired very quickly, theres only so much you can do. like CJ says the codes there,add to it with some decent DLC expand the game, don't just add houses.

A few of us have figured out how to build certain things (Garage add-on's, greenhouse's, pool houses) ...... things like that. I did manage to build a 2 story house, but it wasn't easy, and it wasn't exactly "nice looking", but I enjoyed doing it. It has many draw backs with the game as it is, and I really would like to see the dev's allow us to build, or at least do additions. There's not much difference in buying an existing house, fixing and flipping it, or building one to flip.

I rather like the idea of working with what I'm given. If I want to build a new house I'd probably go to the Sims. But I'd love someone to design me new houses to flip. Maybe when they do the workshop they can be a bit more flexible with this sort of thing.

Wasn't there also something about the license causing problems with a "build your own" arrangement?

Ah, but it could be a "build to order" for an ingame customer as a mission....
