Window Cleaning with mouse

Don't know if i am doing something wrong or what but window cleaning with mouse just doesn't seem to work, it doesn't move very fast while trying to move the cleaner along the window, for reference it's a track ball mouse.

Any options to speed this up or nope?

Which level of window cleaner are you using? Have you upgraded the "perk"? I believe you will find that the improved tools will go faster.

I've gotten maxed out on cleaning skills and it just moves slowly, i've gotten mouse sensitivity up fairly high as well

it's because they slowed down the movement, I guess people complained that it was too fast

Christ that's stupid, should've given an option for that if nothing else?

Part of the problem was players were getting stuck by going too far off the edges. If you search the forums you will see all the discussions about that. So I believe this was part of the "fix" for that.

ah that explains it, i had that issue where it'd jam on the edges of the frames but a quick swipe in the opposite direction always fixed that.

Definately think there should've been an option overall for window cleaning speed.

I wonder if adjusting the sensitivity of the mouse would affect the speed at all???

Nope i can confirm it stays as slow when set to 1 as it is when it's set to 7 in the sensitivity option.

okay, I just found this thread because I was having the same exact issue.
That's explains it, but doesn't excuse it, I have roll my mouse ball so much it hurts my thumb and most houses have so many dirty windows that it just zaps all my motivation and I don't even wanna clean windows anymore now.

Yeah its irritating since the "fix". Prior to that window cleaning was easy, no problems whatsoever. I could move my mouse a very small amount and the entire window would be done. Now, in order to clean the wider windows, I have to move my mouse across the full width of the sofa next to me (I use a laptop and a wireless mouse). Its got to the point that it feels like I'm cleaning an actual window in real life and changing the mouse sensitivity (in game and/or general PC settings for mouse sensitivity) doesn't help either. If I wanted that much of a work out I'd clean our actual windows instead! ;)

I feel like I am spending half my time cleaning the window and then half my time trying to figure out where the sliver of dirt I missed is hidden. Frustrating!

Why the heck is cleaning the windows so slow? It was much better before any updates. :(
I have to move the mouse a couple of times over the mouse pad. Annoying. Setting the mouse sensivity change nothing. :(

It's not really slow for me. It's a bit janky when you first get on the window but once you start doing left/right or up/down swipes, it clears very fast. If you go too fast though it will skip some of the dirt. But I can get windows in under 10 seconds easy.

Cleaning windows with the mouse is pretty crude. That being said once you get the hang of it isn't so painful. It does need fine tuning but i'd rather see the time spent fixing other things at this time.
