Game does not recognize saves
Hello,

I've been having this issue ever since I bought the game. The game itself runs very smoothly it just will not recognize my saves. I played for about 9 hours after I purchased it and when I closed out and logged in the next day there were no options to continue my game. All of my saves are still there in the folder and I've tried so many other things I've found on here and in their support documents to no avail. I verified the integrity of the game files, I've tried using the back up saves, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, so on and so forth and still, nothing! I even started a brand new game and it doesn't even save that! I've reached out to Empyrean through their facebook page and their support email and no one has emailed me back!! I really do not want to refund my game because I love it, but if I cannot get this to work I will have to. It would be nice if someone could respond with any more ideas on what I should do to help me along.

Hi! I was previously having this issue and may have found a solution that might work for you. (It just worked for me and no one else has posted this.) I had to turn off steam sync and delete the folder on my computer where the data is located.

First I uninstalled and reinstalled House Flipper. (Not sure if you need to do this, I just tried it first.) I also deleted C:\Users\(your computer)\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean.

Next right click House Flipper and go to properties. Turn off Steam synchronization.

Third go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(Your Steam ID Number)\7

Delete the folder labeled 7, or you steam ID folder completely. ( I deleted the ID folder uunder userdata, but I was so sick of this bug I went scorched earth method.)

Then start the game with "Force DirectX Feature" and test it out.


I hope this works for anyone else with this issue.

Thanks for the help. I've done all of that except for the bug report. I'm hoping someone from Empyrean will contact me but I don't think they are going to :( I've never had an issue like this with another game. It's super frustrating.

Bugs will be fixed on next updates as always , Developers always work hard on House Flipper , please have a bit more of patience

I see it was post part of the message here to support community , sending logs is a huge help to developers find issues and fix them , surely all mails are checked by team , thank you for post here the help message

Yeah I'm holding out until the next update. Hopefully it fixes it!

Oh my goodness.....you are a true gift. This worked!!! Thank you so much!!! I followed everything you said. Literally deleted everything (went the same scorched earth method) loI I can finally play and it actually keeps my saves. I can't thank you enough!!
