How do you enter gardening competitions?

I bought the first house/ garden - and it popped up with some info re competitions - and said press enter. Did that but nothing happened. SO how do you enter them?

You have to do the house up first & garden if you have garden flipper.
Then you put the house up for sale.
At that point it asks you if you want to enter the garden competition and gives you choices on the left hand side of the page as to what competition you want to enter ( crop, modern, american, english).
Click on your choice and it should tell you how many stars you've got in each category and how much percentage will be added on to the asking price as a result.

You should just be able to stand anywhere in the garden and push enter to enter the garden contest. Before you sell the house of course.

Ok that does not work for me. Perhaps it is a separate key for laptops?
