Have a good day!
You dont really know what it means. Because in the long run, if adding a pool for as cheap as possible adds another ton of price onto the house, a flipper would do it.
A pool cheap as possible... pools arn't cheap. *SMH* Flippers don't add pools, there are more cons to it, than pros. It will turn off some buyers who have safety, maintenance and/or liability concerns also a pool would be a risk for requiring repairs that don't increase the house value.
You worked in real estate, yet you don't think adding pools has issues. Also, not one house flipp have I seen them adding a pool there is to much cons. I didn't say anything about landscaping (Adding flowers and such) as that is differnet.
People like you are who ruins games. Again House flipping is about top dollar low cost. I'm sure if you really flipped houses you wouldn't suck up 20k+ for a in ground pool. That could have cons to it. There are buyers who are afriad of the risks, others who wouldn't want the extra costs of having a pool. I.E Insurance, Maintance, etc. Pools are the least concern of any flipper.
No its really people like you that ruin games. devs who listen to you always go down the wrong path. House flipping is more than just what you describe, it is about making a profit. make a profit how you want.
The game is house flipper. It is suppose to simulate house flipping. Go and ask real house flippers, and most would say no to pools. There are flippers who remove pools, due to the cons. How about keeping the games as it's suppose to be. Pools don't add vaule in most states, and at times it reduces vaule.
Here I quote
" Many potential homebuyers view swimming pools as dangerous, expensive to maintain and a lawsuit waiting to happen. Families with young children in particular may turn down an otherwise perfect house because of the pool (and the fear of a child going in the pool unsupervised). In fact, a would-be buyer's offer may be contingent on the home seller dismantling an aboveground pool or filling in an in-ground pool. The one exception could be if having a pool is standard in your neighborhood, as it can be in warm states such as California, Arizona, Florida and Hawaii."
Another quote
"Do swimming pools add value to a home? In some areas, adding a pool may increase your annual property taxes, but it won't necessarily add to your home's selling price. For that reason, try to keep your total building cost between 10% and 15% of what you paid for your house, lest you invest too much in an amenity that won't pay you back."
Shall I go on?
Another quote
"Do swimming pools increase the value of your home?
The National Association of Realtors has said that a concrete or fiberglass pool may add roughly 5% to a home's value, but again, this number can vary. In other words, although you will get some returns (financially speaking) for your swimming pool, they likely won't match the overall cost of the pool project."
More??
Does a pool increase homeowners insurance?
"Insurance companies typically recommend increasing liability coverage from $100,000 to $500,000 when installing a swimming pool. In states where swimming pools aren't standard, Zacks says, such an increase might add $50 to $75 to a homeowner's insurance annual premium."
Personally we just sold a home $479,900 did the pool add vaule no. Most familes when speaking to the broker stated many concerns with the pool and having small children.
I understand it is a game, but simulaters should stay true to what they're trying to do.
Yes, the game is House Flipper. Lighten up a bit and let people have their pools and whatever else they might want to add. Why not try to enjoy it, instead of getting upset over minor details, as that's what games are for.
Enough said
Wow mad.
I would buy a house with a pool, therefore, it makes sense someone flipping a house could add a pool. Enough said.
But, I'll continue... You're not someone I would buy a house from. Just because you don't want a pool doesn't mean someone else isn't willing to pay more for one. There are many people that would rather pay extra to buy a finished product than figure out how to install a pool themselves.
The point of house flipping isn't to do nothing. It is to do whatever it takes to bring in the money. You ever heard the saying, you need money to make money? It means you need to put money into something to entice people to pay more. It's really a simple concept but lets not forget this is game :P
In short, having pools in the game doesn't hurt you since you don't have to use them.
