Repair furniture / existing cabinets

Is there (or will there be) a way to repair and/or refurbish fixtures and furniture in purchased houses?

Not at the moment. All you can do is to sell the old ones. I hope we get the repair option someday.

This would definitely be a cool add-on. Maybe even add a 'flea market finds' option to go shopping at a flea market to pick up well used furniture and revitalize it as a cheaper version.
