New achievements not working

Running the most recent update, smacking cockroaches still does the little tip pop-up on the left telling me to suck them up instead, but no 'chieve unlock.

Go to your achievements it will show it unlocked. When this was out as beta i unlocked all achievements, So it is working.

I understand how to unlock the achievements. For me they do not work. Simpy referring me to a guide stating how to unlock them does not address any issue otherwise.

You do this in every post about these achievements, you are ridiculous, dude. As I said, this is a version of the game updated to 1.06 as of this evening - not earlier today, not last week. It does not pop for me.

After 20 minutes I got this achievement, just hardly smashed cockroach nest a lot of times.

I'm smashing them a bunch to try and get it to pop. Do you have an upgraded mallet by chance? Attempting on the "Homeand a car" map. (All the other achievements - smacking the car, lifting it, wall street dude - work easily)

not working for me either (although I havne't tried for 20 minutes straight), also notice the message about "why are you doing this to yourself?" doesn't pop up anymore. Perhaps this has something to do with them being able to be glass now as well? Anyway, I am also using a maxed out hammer, but it worked on the car for the other achievement. For fun I also tried to vaccuum all but the last one and smashed the last guy for a while and he wouldn't die.

26 minutes in, trying to get this to trigger. It finally did - and at which point it SPAMMED me with the "Why are you giving yourself more work by trying to kill those cockroaches with a hammer?" tip.
I do not know if it's what made it trigger, but I stepped way back until it only just registered as showing the "swap to hoover" tip then smacked a bunch. I then built a few single walls in amongst the cockroaches and knocked them down which triggered the "Why are you" when I knocked the bottom of the wall down onto them.
Many MANY minutes later, still getting the tips on the left side
So yeah, it does work but it's buggy (har har) at the moment. This was with the upgraded destruction tool & on the Home and a car map (would not trigger straight away on other maps either).

The way Catharsis did it worked for me too. Had to step away from the bugs, then slowly creep in with hammer equipped and the tooltip popped up asking why I was making it hard on myself... once I swung it popped the achievement. Slammed them a few times before but certainly not for 20+ minutes. Good find.
