I dont think its exactly hidden that this game has them so if someone is that afraid of them that much virtually I doubt they would buy this game and maybe even knowing they could turn it off would still leave it alone based on screenshots and such if it was perhaps that severe.
I certainly feel like they add an extra element to the game myself though i wish I could improve other ways to get rid of them or faster perhaps as you gain skill but if its a fear of them wouldnt it be feel good to vaccum them all up and clean them out I would think?
Its nice of you to be considerate of those if this is a real concern but I'm just not convinced its as big an issue as your post suggests it to be perhaps.
Even those that maybe have that much of a phobia that it would prevent them from a game purchase how many would realistically want to play the game and for the effort it might take to implement such a feature to maybe benefit a very small number of potential players.
Now I certainly wouldnt be against an option to turn them off as customization options to tailor the gameplay style to the individual perhaps either built in or modded in some way but I would imagine it might be more hassle then its worth for the devs to do it for just the few missions and perhaps few house flips they are in.
I have OCD and the cleaning side of things is sheer relaxation for me in this game. :D
I hear you brother, isn't that the most ridiculous thread you have ever heard, I was like are you serious! I guess they don't play Resident Evil. Maybe they should leave the Bugs and add a safe place with support and a closet where they can retreat, cry and hold a stuffed animal, what is happening to the youth of our country. Over sensitive, over Protected and over Medicated I am thinking!
Agreed =D I don't really care if they let people turn it off or on but I'd love to see more of it, like rats and stuff.
