How to increase FOV beyond 70

I was trying to play this game but the 70 FOV was giving me a headache and I saw someone else with the same issue, so here's a solution until the devs allow the FOV to be increased (or indefinitely if they never add that feature)

1. Boot the game and open Cheat Engine

2. Load into your game to the point where you can look around and open settings to change your FOV

3. Select the game in cheat engine (the computer and magnifying glass at the top left)
- make sure that Scan Type is set to Exact Value, Value Type is set to Float, and the Rounded (extreme) bubble is selected on the right side

4. Set you FOV to any number in-game (I chose 70 and worked back wards); once you have selected a number on the slider go back to Cheat Engine and do a First Scan for that number [in my case it's 70]

5. Once the scan is done, change the FOV slider in-game to a different number than the one you just scanned for; once it is changed go back to Cheat Engine and select the Next Scan option

6. Repeat the process until you are left with a set of numbers on the left that do not go away with each scan (if you have multiple monitors you can see these change as you move the slider in-game, if not when you come out of the game after changing the FOV slider these numbers should match whatever you just changed the FOV to.

7. Select all of the boxes on the left that have the values and drag them to the empty box at the bottom of window.
- for me there were 5 boxes, this should be the same for everyone

8. You can now change the numbers under Value at the bottom of the window (where you just dragged them to) to whatever you want the FOV to be, make sure that you change all of the numbers and that they are the same.

9. Once all of the numbers have been changed click back into your game and enjoy your new FOV!
