I don't understand the kitchen shop.
I don't understand the kitchen shop. There is just one (sort of) modular kitchen set and that is very limited in the available variety of cabinets. then there are some bits and pieces of other kitchens which often don't match with other parts. Or they do almost match but then there is a difference in the available colours for it. And then there are some completely finished (expensive looking) design kitchens which can only be bought in 1 piece and are way too big for most of the houses.
Usually in real life it's the other way around. There are cheap (yet mostly small) kitchen units all in one piece. But if you are willing to spend some more money you can choose exactly which cabinets you would like.

To me it looks like the game wasn't planned at all. Last minute they realised they forgot the kitchens and just added the stuff they had still lying around somewhere.

I usually try to go for the prefab kitchens if they fit into the house. Last resort for me would be the individual cabinets due to lack of color / material options and the fact that no matter how I rotate them, I can't get them to line up perfectly.

I have not been able to use the prefab stuff in most homes due to the windows and walls. I think it is a great idea and they look great but seeing we can't move windows and such your very limited to where you can use that stuff. I have been using mostly the basic cabinets.

I understand what your getting at and I agree. Most of the prefab stuff / Highend stuff can't be used in 90% of the homes available ingame now mostly due to the wall confuguration and the window position. I have used next to none of the prefab stuff because of the windows.

Also your correct about the placable items not being thought out very well and i was confronted with the same thing when trying to say make a kitchen or a bed room set that all matched and blended. For example when you purchase a bed and then add other bedroom pcs it's hard to find the pcs you like that are all available in the same colors and you end up with a mix matched bedroom set that looks like nice furniture but maybe you bought it at close out and none of it matches and being a wood finisher by trade I noticed that for example some pcs of furniture that say Cherry and then a different pcs of furniture that is selected in cherry don't match in color. Found that with many different color selections even the same color on different pcs don't match.

It's living hell right now., i have run out of jobs and homes to flip due to low content so i am wating for update at this point.

I've been able to use the smaller prefab stuff in most of the homes, but not all. With some creative thinking, it can be done. It would be nice if we had more options, absolutely.
